A group of us stay at a different fishing lodge every year as an annual holiday. We choose to stay in cabins and rustic is fine. We are not fussy and are there to fish but the cabins at Green Lake Lodge are disgusting and in need of repairs. The bathrooms and shower house floor was sagging so bad the doors on the cubicles would swing open. The cabin we rented was dirty and the toilet backed up into the shower. We were blamed for driving on the sewer line but when we inspected the plumbing (photos for proof) the cabin drain was lower than the sewer line. The owners offered cleaning supplies but did nothing to help or remedy the problem. They offered another cabin but out of all the cabins on the property there is only one respectable unit worth staying in but it was occupied. Never again and would not recommend. It doesn't look like there have been any improvements or upgrades in years and is quite run down. |Too bad because the lake and fishing were really nice.

This place used to be our favourite place to go, but the owner is the most inhospitable lodge owner we have ever dealt with, the cabins are a disgrace, it wont be long before all of them are inhabitable! Spend some time and money and at least make the cabins look safe instead of about to fall over into the the lake. FYI, you are in the business of dealing with people! Work on your socials skills a bit please.

Had only a day trip planned and was able to rent a boat no problems. Friendly service. Very nice area and lake.

Green Lake Lodge has a rustic setting with basic amenities enough to live in cabin comfort yet experince the joy of outdoor camping. Sure enough it has minimal services yet for one who wishes peace and quietness, less service is better as I do not need to put up the "do not disturb" sign. The main activity there is fishing and I'm truly satisfied with the numerous boat piers to fish on. The waters is clean and the fishing is great, better than I have hoped for! The owners, Linda and Brian are there whenever you need them. All in all, my stay has been wonderful!

Had a great time no problem catching walleye and pike! Super deep lake. Tried out Beaver river which is also rich in walleye! Great little spot for a quiet get away. Each cabin has a fire pit. No horseshoes or any type of games for kids or adults to play. Showers cood use a good scrub down..but a neat n tidy bathroom. Quaint little store for your basics. Great job guys!!

The owners are like family. The cabins are rustic, but they cozy and I've seen them being updated. The lake has great fishing and matches its name depending on time of the year. According to Google I've been here 63 times.

To the whiners: Water levels fluctuate, insects bite, things wear out. And don’t forget it takes a lot of work and money to run any lodge. AND we all age. Now to my review.||||My cousin and I came in for 3 nights. For fishing, resting and catching up with each other. I had talked to Linda on the phone to see what we needed to bring for ourselves. Even so, I forgot a couple of things. Linda and Brian to the rescue.||I didn’t remember a blanket and was immediately offered one. Second night my filleting knife was dull and I couldn’t find my sharpener. I went and found Brian. Even though it was after hours, he was gracious and helpful enough to take me to his little shop and sharpened it for me right away. Then loaned his sharpener to me in case I needed it again before my fish cleaning was finished that evening.||Those two take care of the cabins, store, boats and campground by themselves. They do a great job. And my cousin and I had a wonderful time!||Thanks for a comfortable and gloriously peaceful stay. I hope to make yours an annual destination!||||Patricia Woodward

Ive stayed at many lodges throughout Saskatchewan for work and this lodge is definitely quite nice. You shouldnt expect a big city style hotel, but having a clean place that is relatively kept together means everything for long work trips. The owners are friendly.
