Camere rumorosissime, arredamento scarso, bagno vecchio e malandato. Prima colazione non fornita per motivi di forza maggiore: il personale alla concierge é stato molto vago in merito, ma almeno si é scusato per il disagio. ||Per i portatori di handicap é stata predisposta un comodo montacarichi che permette di risalire la scala che porta all'ingresso.||Generalmente 40 euro per una stanza doppia é un prezzo molto buono, ma se valutiamo tutto l'insieme, l'Ostello del Borgo é caro come il fuoco. Per quel che ho visto 30 euro sarebbero stati piu' che sufficienti... in ogni caso||non ci tornero' mai piu'.

ho visitato piazza armerina,molto graziosa,ma deluso dal rinomato ostello del borgo...cosa ci sia di bello non l'ho ancora scoperto!caro di prezzo,poca pulizia e poco accoglienti.Non m'importava molto della quantità di cornetti al mattino ma è vergognoso trovare macchie di vario genere nelle tovagle, per non parlare delle asciugamani...orrore,peli e cose di vario tipo,vi sconsiglio di pernottare proprio li,alla fine e per fortuna ci sono molti b&b !!

We were here in Nov. of 2003. We had left the Agrigento area sooner than expected and arrived in Piazza Armerina without any arrangements for the night. We were told about this hotel after talking with some Canadian tourists who were staying here. The staff was friendly and helpful, room was comfortable although not large. Bathroom contained only a shower and took some getting used to. If you were not careful everything in the entire room got wet. However, for the price of 57euros per room per night including breakfast; we were very satisfied. The breakfast was disappointing mainly because they kept running out of things.|There was a little street noise but it did not keep us awake for long.|The only other comment I might make is that there are alot of stairs. It did not bother us much but for some people it could be a problem. There might be an elevator but we did not see one. If we ever get the chance to return to Sicily I would not hesitate to stay here agin.

Our experience mirrored that of the other two English-language reviewers. The hotel is right in the center of town; parking can be a problem. It is a converted convent and does feel a little like a dormitory (but a very spacious and comfortable one).||||The room was large and the bed comfortable, but the shower is definitely a challenge if you do not want to flood the room. However it's easy to cope with it. There are a lot of stairs (two flights to the lobby and several more if you are one the upper floor). Staff was very friendly and helpful; gave us good directions to the restaurant we were looking for (Da Toto, about a three block walk through some narrow passages). Breakfast was nice and the price of 60 Euros would be very difficult to beat given the location..

We stayed here one night-its in a really good location in Piazza Armerina. Its a restored convent & the rooms, although with a dormitory like feeling, were clean and pleasant. Be warned by the showers- ours did not drain properly, and as it was a room shower (non-cubicle) type, it ended up flooding the whole floor of the bathroom for a few hours. ||Having said that, it was a relatively cheap stay, internet is available and staff are friendly enough. The breakfast was OK for the price.

A cheap BB. Room was simple but ok. Quite nice setting. Street can be rather noisy, we slept wearing ear plugs. Outside opposite the BB there was enough parking place, no problem. Bed was horrible! Breakfast we skipped, one croissant, with Nescafé coffee (in Italy!). There are enough bars around. No one of the staff (we met 5 different people) spoke English. We speak some Italian, but even simple words as 'breakfast' , 'parking' or 'check out' were unknown to them. They also didn't seem to be interested in their guests in any way. But if you don't care about all these things, and you are on a tight budget, then it's still an option.
