We just came home from a family weekend away. We booked cabin #13 which has hot water, shower, toilet and 2 beds. We booked here in plans of getting a couple of days out fishing and renting a boat. Unfortunately the weather didn’t really cooperate but we made the best of it! We called ahead and They accommodated an early check in as Saturday was the the nicest day of our weekend and wanted to get out on the water for a few hours which wasn’t in our original plans. Darren and Joy are amazing and so welcoming! We showed up and dropped our luggage in the cabin quickly and they already had our boat at the dock warmed up and ready to go! Darren gave us a quick run down and off we went! The boats are in very good operation and once warmed up start first pull every time! Saturday was a write off with 50+ km winds but we took a few walks around and it really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! The prices at the store are very reasonable we felt and have a good supply of different stuff. The cabins are very clean and comfortable! Ours was a little slopped but it didn’t affect us any and it was equipped with basically everything needed! The only thing that would be a nice touch would be a BBQ at every cabin. Cabin 13 is the last one in the loop and you back onto dense Saskatchewan wilderness and there is a trail that they cleared that you can walk right outside the cabin.

I could go on even more about how much we loved this place! Before leaving we already started discussing trying to find time in august or September to come back again and hopefully have the weather cooperate better for us. If you’re wanting somewhere small and a perfect level of “remoteness” look no farther!

Very disappointing experience. ||Told there was a fire ban and we couldn’t have a fire which was a bummer but understandable . Other people around us had fires though and no regulation. The site also smelled of propane and when we decided that we didn’t want to stay and watch other people have fires during a fire ban while propane is being smelled in our site, they wouldn’t give us any money back. I do not recommend this place in any way. We left early and won’t be back.

Stayed here with my family renting multiple cabins. Owner came over after a miscommunication between children. Saying “where’s the drink abusive uncle”. Inappropriate way to address someone. In-addition, playing music with the neighbouring cabins, playing songs
On their request. The cabin rental agreements as well as camp rules say midnight is the quiet time limit, at 11:30 pm the owner came to our cabin and said “there quiet time is midnight but there’s a time to stop acting like drunken idiots”. Calling your clients “drunks, abusive, and idiots” is really not how you get repeat clients. The cabins were really dusty and required cleaning upon arrival. Would recommend for a quiet adult get away, but not for family fun.

Cabin 7 - this cabin is a “fisherman’s” cabin. Not a romantic cabin on the lake for a couple to enjoy. The cabin was actually leaning to one side. As you walk up to the door the lock is janky and the door seemed to be rotting where it latched to close and lock. The toilet was an rv toilet that didn’t fill with water. It was freezing cold inside and no instructions on how to use the propane heater. Something dripped on me from the ceiling but I was unable to find what and where it came from. The sheet on the bed had a large yellow stain. The pull out couch was dirty looking. After being there for ten minutes Decided that this experience was not for us after driving 2.5 hrs there. Told the owner about our concerns and nothing was done to refund us any amount. Were just told “thanks for the feedback but we will still be billing you.”

Cabins were clean and well set up for what we needed. Road needs work within cabins and camp area, large holes and very tight to turn around a truck and trailer.

We got to experience the RV trailer that is positioned right on the lake, absolutely fantastic. It's a beautiful little spot nestled in the trees with a fantastic beach right there that the kids spent hours and hours on. We caught several fish right at the campsite. Boat rentals, paddle boards, they have most everything you could want to enjoy a family vacation. I can't say enough good things about this little gem!

The provide boat rentals for half day which is 5hrs for $80. And if u get one from 9am to 9 pm they charge $130.
