We highly recommend Hotel Castelo. If you're looking for a fair price, tranquility, and a commitment to comfort and cleanliness, Hotel Castelo is the hotel for you. The location is good, providing access to the Italian countryside and not too far from Bologna. The room was very clean and smelled nice, the bed linen and bath towels were of good quality and had a pleasant scent. The breakfast had an excellent variety and quality products. And the stars of the hotel were the receptionists, who provided exemplary customer service and were always very kind. We will definitely return soon. Thank you Hotel Castello. Veronica & James

We stayed at The Hotel Castello just outside Bologna at the beginning of September for a couple of nights and it was amazing ! The whole place was very clean which made it feel cozy and welcoming. The staff were all very professional and friendly always happy to help. The owners were also on hand and made us feel like part of the family. Breakfast was top notch and left us full until lunch time. A perfect start to the day. We also enjoyed dinner in the hotel which was delicious. Great location in the quiet quarter of a quiet but beautiful little town. The room was very clean. The breakfast satisfying. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Magali and Eleonora. They know how to look after their guests. Would gladly stay there again if I’m in the area.

The hotel is comfortable and very clean, the rooms are spacious and recently renovated, breakfast with sweet cakes and croissants made every day. The service is very nice. The restaurant finally has an excellent seasonal menu in Castel San Pietro that stands out for the quality and freshness of local products. I recommend it to everyone. I also brought the whole family and they were all happy.

We stayed one night in July 2024 in Suite 200, having waited 4 years since our original booking had to be cancelled due to covid. It did not disappoint. We booked specifically because this was Ayrton Senna's suite and the last place he stayed before his fatal crash - massive Senna fans. |The hotel and suite are spotless. The staff are extremely friendly and professional and looked after us well. The suite is made up of a lounge with tv, a bedroom with a massive tv and a lovely bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower. I think they have kept the design as it would have been in Senna's day, which is really clever. There are photos and quotes by Senna in the room.|Breakfast was included and was an extensive Italian affair with meats, cheeses, eggs, breads, nuts, yoghurts and loads if cakes. good coffee on tap.|We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fantastic. The lady who was serving was brilliant. |I believe you can use the large swimming pool in the next door hotel, but you'd have to check. There's a Senna memorabilia cabinet in reception which has some really rare items.|If you're not a fan of Senna, this hotel is still marvellous.
