Great place to stay, I had a great time with my family here! The ladies working here are so kind, and helpful. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the view front out deck was amazing! If you need a place to stay this place is a must! Shout out to the manager Destiny and the maintenance worker Justina couple of hardworking and lovely ladies!

Our week stay at the Waters Edge Eco Lodge was amazing. The only reason I gave the service an average was because we didn't need any service. We enjoyed our room location and view of the lake from our room. The room was so very clean. It had air conditioning as the weather was hot but so nice in the evening. The room included a sm refrigerator, a microwave, and a small coffee maker. We preferred the coffee made in the lobby. No TV but a radio. Perfect for us to relax, read, and visit. The price was reasonable and the girls that worked there were so sweet and helpful. We didn't use the guest kitchen, but what a great idea. We had family at a campground where we spent a lot of time. The lodge was perfect for what we needed. They were building about 10 more Teepees. A great way to share their culture and allow families to gain new experiences and perspectives. Thank you for a great week. We will be back.

We had our son's wedding there on the weekend. It was fantastic! Great hosts, food and friendly service. We were in one of the cabins. It was very spacious and clean. It has beautiful rustic charm!

What a peaceful location. This is the place to come to get away from it all. Although there isn't a lot to do in the area, that is kind of the point. Relax!||We stayed in Cabin 2 and it exceeded expectations. Probably the best-equipped kitchen we've ever had at a similar type of cabin. It had everything that was needed, no matter what you were planning on making/having. A barbeque is provided at no extra charge. The design of the lodge and cabins is very nice, modern but rustic. Cabin 2 had two small bedrooms, a living/dining room and kitchen. The BEST part of it all was a huge screened-in porch with a comfortable sitting area and dining area. Only thing that would have made it better was a sofa that you could stretch out on, instead of a loveseat. Cabin had games and books available, which was fun.||We ate in the lodge for two nights of our stay. The 'shore lunch' was especially notable - very tasty and generous portions. Really liked the cheesecake dessert as well. Don't hesitate to pre-book your supper when booking your reservation. That allows staff to prepare and have your choices ready to go at the appointed times. ||Although there is wifi available, it doesn't work well in the cabins. A quick trip to the main lodge gives much better connectivity. There are no tvs in the cabins, but we didn't even notice until the last day of our stay. Actually happy that there wasn't, as we got to concentrate on relaxing.||LOVE that this lodge is Indigenous owned and operated! Food offerings also reflect this influence which is awesome. A great place for an event or retreat. ||There are also paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with life jackets and paddles available. We took a tandem kayak out one day. What a great way to enjoy the lake!||Staff are friendly and anxious to make a good impression. There seem to be only a few staff members who are responsible for almost everything. There is often no one to speak to at the front desk because they are very busy keeping the lodge operating. Hopefully they will be able to add additional staff in the future. ||There is a very cute puppy/young dog named Loopy who is adorable and happy to greet everyone.||It looks like they may be building additional tipi-type accommodation for the future. Nice.||A note that this is northern Saskatchewan, so bugs are bad in height of summer.

The cabins are beautiful! Very private and elegantly decorated. The screened in porch is the best. I highly recommend this place.

Sadly this resort has not been maintained since the change over in ownership. Everything seems to have deteriorated and hasn’t been fixed or updated. The lodge used to be very clean and you would be greeted with the most genuine hospitality. I recently stayed there and found it unclean and falling apart. The guest kitchen was not fully stocked, there were no plates/bowls/mugs/glasses. They were kept in the commercial kitchen and only provided if you asked. It seemed as if the commercial kitchen was only being used for personal staff use (not for serving the guests). The commercial kitchen was an always dirty, stacked with mounds of dirty dishes. We were instructed to wash and dry our own dishes in the guest kitchen with an old sponge and dirty tea towels (that I never saw washed or replaced in the 3 days I was there) and then put those dishes back on the rack in the commercial kitchen. Not sure how many health codes are being broken in that case, but I’m sure a few. There was no extras, like paper towel, paper napkins, foil, etc.
The fire alarm was removed from the ceiling in our room. Another health code violation I’m sure.
The key hardly worked for the door.
The hardware for the doorknobs was loose on nearly every door. The sink in the bathroom was very loose.
The floors were dirty.
The trails were not maintained and overgrown.
The garden in front of the lodge was totally overgrown and weeded out. The fence around the garden was broken and falling apart (garden was non existent).
The dock was scary.
The whole stay was completely disheartening. It used to truly be the most beautiful resort in the bush.
5 stars for the location, because nothing beats natures beauty.

We just got back from a weekend at the lodge. We were a large group and Fabio was so accommodating! The rooms were perfect, the grounds are beautiful and well-kept, and the kitchen was well-equipped.
Bring bug spray if you want to sit by the fire after dark.
This is a wonderful venue for a family gathering, wedding or other event!
