Camera inutizzabile per forte odore di chiuso e muffa, tanto da richiedere cambio camera immediatamente accordato.Alcuni spazi comuni sarebbero da manutenere e tenere puliti, principio base di qualunque struttura alberghiera, dato anche il costo della camera non è affatto trascurabile.

Perché è posizionato in una posizione favolosa, le 5 stelle sono di incoraggiamento affinché oltre alle bellezze naturali, si possano godere quelle artificiali, tipo piscina, con più regole e più controllo, dato che ci sono gli spazi si potrebbe costruire una piscina unicamente per adulti, perché quella presente è, ob torto collo, riservata ai bambini di qualsiasi età, comprese le 2 jacuzzi, che dovrebbero essere assolutamente vietate ai bambini. È lontano da tutto devi affittate un'auto e costa 70 dollari al giorno. Il mare non è bello e la piscina strapiena. Carino per una famiglia

My 3 year old daughter and I stayed at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort for a mother/daughter trip visiting from Colorado. We had an amazing time and were very pleased with the accommodations. We loved the kiddie pool and played the poolside ping pong and Jenga. Our room was spotless and we had a beautiful view of the Bay. The location is excellent. Very close to the airport and we were less than 10 minutes to La Jolla where we frequented the best breakfast spot, ShoreHouse Kitchen. ||There was one person in particular that made our stay spectacular. Katie, the hotel concierge, went above and beyond. We visited her all 3 days of our stay. She is such a bright light and had so many wonderful activity and local food recommendations. What started as a visit to her desk to get some Halloween candy ended as a new friend that was the highlight of the trip for my daughter. Following the Best of the Bay tour that Katie booked for us, my daughter insisted that we stop by Katie’s desk to share some of the Ghirardelli chocolate that we picked up. Katie is the best and we will certainly be back!

This week me and my family one teen and one child and husband had the most amazing 7 day 8 night vacation! From the staff to the rooms (comfortable beds pillows, the a/c super cold and the water pressure was amazing and always hot!) and the best part the LOCATION only a 15 min drive to all the local attractions like balboa park mission beach Belmont park San Diego zoo! Even though we did a lot in our time here just hanging out in the resort was amazing from kayaking on the bay roasting marshmallows on the beach we truly had the best experience thank you again to everyone who made us feel welcome we will miss the place so much and if you are looking to stay in a home away from home consider this your best choice!

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it was quite a disappointing experience. We were given an “upgraded” room upon arrival, which turned out to be a major letdown. The room had discolored popcorn ceilings, smelled of mold, and the so-called “garden view” was nothing more than a chain-link fence at the edge of the property. After a 10-hour travel day, I just wanted to rest, but the dog in the room next door was barking and howling.

Thankfully, the front desk staff was extremely responsive and friendly when I voiced my concerns. They promptly moved us to a different room, which had a much nicer view and no unpleasant smells. However, the issues didn’t stop there. The bathroom in the second room had a cobweb on the ceiling, and I was pretty grossed out to find blood on the bedding. Additionally, the room had no microwave, and the shower was so tiny that anyone over 5’10” would struggle to stand up in it comfortably.

After checking out, I was charged $480, but never received a detailed bill. I can only assume the extra charges were for the daily $40+ parking fee and the $34+ hotel fee, which were tacked onto an already high room rate.

While the pool and property were nice, the overall experience left much to be desired. I won’t be rebooking here for my next visit to San Diego.

My recent stay at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort was unfortunately overshadowed by a frustrating experience with unexpected double billing. I had booked the room through a third-party site, which clearly outlined my charges—$208, with only a $39 resort fee to be paid at check-in. Upon arrival, the front desk confirmed the room was prepaid, asked if I needed parking, issued a parking pass, and requested a credit card for a $100 incidental hold. No mention was made of any additional parking fee.

The room itself was disappointing: dated, musty-smelling, and uncomfortable, with a mattress that left us achy in the morning. The resort overall has potential with a great location, but it’s in need of a refresh.

Then came the surprise: a charge of $264.66 on my bank statement after checkout. When I called the hotel to inquire, they admitted the charge was a mistake, claiming they "missed" the third-party payment. Apparently, this is an occasional issue with third-party bookings, which is concerning for guests who may not check their statements.

While they did eventually agree to refund $177.70, they retained $39 for the resort fee and an additional $43 for parking, which I wasn’t informed about at check-in. The total charges and lack of clarity left me feeling misled, and it made for an aggravating end to an already underwhelming stay.

I hope other travelers booking through third-party sites are vigilant with their statements to avoid similar issues.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The property is so quiet and peaceful. The rooms were huge and I loved the fire pits. All of the food here was good and service was excellent! Location was perfect for our tranquil getaway. Fell in love with the city. Great way to spend our 10 year anniversary. We will definitely be back.

Coming back to edit that you need to check your receipts! We were charged for things that we were not aware of. We did not get the original room we booked. They charged us for water in the room that we did not drink. There's a lot of hidden fees. Make sure you read the fine print!!! We will be calling to get it sorted out!
